The second-hand marketplace Members Voice Frustration Regarding Sizing Modifications
Vinted users have been reacting angrily after an update resulted in items being listed as the wrong size.
The popular resale platform has updated its size classifications for female and kids' apparel but did not contact all users about the change.

Countless users and merchants are posting online claiming that product pages now present an altered size classification versus the original listing due to the recalibration.
The company said the revised method more closely matches comparable marketplaces.
The platform has recommended to examine their items and adjust the sizing manually when needed, which has left users frustrated.
Sizing System Updates
Earlier, the measurements included a single numeric size and a letter, such as S/8 or M/10.
The updated approach includes a letter with a size spectrum for example S/UK 8-10.
With some products, the measurements have been reclassified - like an L measurement used to be a 12 but is now a UK 16-18.

A fashion influencer, who creates plus-size fashion videos, said the change "makes both selling and buying harder".
"Rarely do manufacturers list XL as sizes 20-22," the way the service now categorizes.
Another user, from Glasgow, stated items she posted on Vinted with size 14 labels were showing in the marketplace as larger sizing 20-22.
"If anyone [who is] size 20-22 buys them they will likely be quite upset," she explained.
Necessary Adjustments
Charlotte Lunn, based in Derby, stated she felt frustrated because the modification necessitated personal updates the sizing for "all her products".
"Personally, this is quite irritating, since I have chronic health issues and Vinted sales have been crucial for me since losing part of my income," she said.
Service Background
The app has more than 100 million members, comprising 18 million UK members.
It has emerged as a preferred choice compared to resale services such as eBay and Depop.
This isn't the first time when a surprising modification on the platform has faced criticism: last year, Vinted reversed a change to its shipping options following member complaints.
